The Process: A Three-Step Journey
- 1. CADI utilize Solidworks' robust parametric modelling capabilities to craft 3D forms that are both visually appealing and technically sound. My focus on accuracy ensures designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also ready for production.
- 2. RENDERINGKeyShot is my rendering engine of choice, allowing me to breathe life into my models with realistic materials, lighting, and environments. I experiment with CMF (Colour, Material, Finish) combinations to create visually captivating and impactful visuals.
- 3. POSTTo elevate the final output, I turn to Adobe Photoshop for still-render adjustments and DaVinci Resolve for colour correction and compositing of animated sequences. This ensures the final visuals are polished and aligned with the client's vision.
The Journey
My journey in 3D visualization has been fuelled by a thirst for knowledge and a drive to constantly push my creative boundaries. I'm always seeking new challenges and opportunities to refine my skills, whether through personal projects or client work.
One way I've embraced this growth mindset is through active participation in online challenges like RenderWeekly and ColourWeekly. These challenges not only provide a platform to showcase my work but also offer invaluable opportunities to learn from fellow artists, experiment with new techniques, and stay inspired.

Recently, I embarked on a new chapter in my 3D journey by diving into the world of Blender. This powerful tool has opened up a realm of possibilities for creating dynamic product visuals and animations with cinematic quality. I'm particularly excited about the ability to incorporate advanced physics simulations, bringing an extra layer of realism and engagement to my work.
I've also begun to leverage Blender for creating eye-catching vertical animations for social media, expanding my reach and showcasing my skills to a wider audience. You can find examples of my animations on my design Instagram @brads.design.
